Catching up on posting here...back at the end of February, we had some good friends from Michigan come to visit. They got here Thursday night, and I was scheduled to work Friday, and our kids had school while they were planning on seeing some of the sites around here. Nature had other plans. Thursday night and all day Friday, we had the biggest snow storm I can remember since we have been living up north. I am not sure the pictures do it justice. We had 4-5 feet of snow in our driveway. Needless to say, nobody went anywhere on Friday. It took Joe and the boys all morning Saturday to clear the driveway, and that was thanks to our neighbor who came over and helped dig us out. The snow was too deep for the snowblower, so they were taking turns climbing up on top and knocking it off for the snowblower. Crazy stuff!
