South Jersey

At the boardwalk in Ocean City

We went for a walk on the beach. The kids couldn't stay away from the water.

The kids did go carts with Grumpy Pop Pop and Pop Pop Semus. They had a blast!

We visited with Mom Mom Boyd. I didn't look closely enough at this picture when I took it, and didn't notice she was looking away. But it was good to see her. The kids played games, and Emma still likes to ride the tiny 4 wheel bike she keeps in the toy closet.

Kim took a day off, and we went to the water park at Wildwood. Grumpy Pop Pop was going to go too, but turns out the brakes on our van were bad, and he generously offered to stay behind and replace those for us. It was a full day of slides and swimming for the rest of us.

Brent spent a lazy morning on the trundle bed with the girls. Emma thought he would enjoy listening to some "Little House on the Prairie." Brent is on of the sweetest dogs we have ever known. He is recovering from his injury a month before our visit when he was run over and dragged by the mail truck. Both hips were broken in addition to multiple cuts and burns. He had fun lying around and letting the kids love on him. And the kids loved it too.

At Custard Corral , their orange soft serve machine was broken, so we couldn't get the orange and vanilla swirl. Bummer. But we enjoyed huge chocolate swirl cones instead.

Pop Pop Grumps finally got in the pool with the kids, which they loved.
